The attendee will be able to:
1. Demonstrate an understanding of the nature of Treatment Resistant Depression (TRD) and diagnostic approaches.
2. Demonstrate an understanding of treatment options for TRD and research-supported rationales for their selection.
3. Demonstrate an understanding of the Comprehensive Depression Assessment & Treatment Center (CDATC) approach developed by the KUMC Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences for assessing TRD and it's capability for providing state-of-the-art treatment options.
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of the American Psychiatric Association (APA) and Kansas Psychiatric Society. The APA is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Designation: The APA designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits (TM). Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the acitivity.
