An exciting opportunity for the right candidate to lead and manage the psychiatry residency program in the Broadlawns UnityPoint Psychiatry Residency Program and to educate physicians who want to provide exemplary, evidence-based psychiatric care to patients. This is an opportunity to grow the newly accredited psychiatry residency program, uniquely positioned within the UnityPoint Broadlawns Psychiatry Education Foundation, ensuring residents exposure to rigorous scholarly activity, research, clinical training, and a well-rounded practice of psychiatry. Resident core rotations will occur at Broadlawns Medical Center, UnityPoint Health-Des Moines, and the Central Iowa Veteran’s Administration Hospital. The Broadlawns UnityPoint Psychiatry Residency Program was accredited by the ACGME on July 1, 2017 as a 4-year program with 4 residents in each of the 4 years.
The Program Director is responsible for the operation of the program, including all activities related to recruitment, selection, instruction, supervision, advising, evaluation, documentation, and advancement of residents. The Program Director ensures continuing accreditation of the program by adhering to ACGME common and specialty requirements.
- Must be Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
- Have or must be able to obtain an active Iowa Medical License to practice medicine
- Educational and administrative experience as a faculty member in the field of psychiatry sufficient to meet ACGME program director qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years as an active faculty in ACGME residency
- Minimum of 2 years GME administrative experience

Integrated Psychiatric Consultants (IPC) is a physician owned and operated group psychiatric practice with ability for psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners being able to work in various diverse settings. We are currently hiring full time, part time and PRN general adult psychiatrists, child and adolescent psychiatrists, geriatric psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners!
Various flexible work options. Monday through Friday, weekends only, and tele psychiatry positions available. IPC provides individualized treatment to a full spectrum of psychiatric disorders in a wide variety of populations, currently in the state of Kansas, specifically Wichita and Kansas City, KS as well as the St Louis Missouri area. IPC has a combination of board certified or board eligible general adult psychiatrists and child and adolescent psychiatrists. At the current time, we have multiple full time Psychiatrists and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners with years of clinical experience in diverse areas, and we are looking to add to the team. We provide care to children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations in a variety of settings, including inpatient, residential and outpatient offices, psychiatric consultations in a medical hospital, nursing homes, federally qualified health centers and tele-psychiatry in a variety of areas. Treatments provided include psychiatric evaluations, medication management services, collaboratively working with treatment teams.
